Comicus is an independent entertainment and artiste consultancy supplying cabaret acts, comedians, presenters, speakers and comedy shows to the corporate market place. It also provides a range of creative services to organisations, media, training and marketing companies.

Comicus does not personally manage artistes but recommends, produces and books comedy on behalf of clients. This means the advice and any recommendations are totally impartial.

We do not impose or push acts which are unsuitable for the job, where many other agents do.

The company is run by Matthew Willetts who has successfully developed corporate comedy departments for major organisations as well has having a mountain of experience in the comedy industry. He was recently asked by a TV executive ‘Is there any comedian you don’t know’, such is his reputation in the business.

Matthew began his Comedy career after University working in cabaret, theatre and television becoming involved in West End theatre, feature films and stand up comedy before making an impact in television as a writer on many high profile comedy shows and sit-coms. After a spell in business he returned to combine his artistic flair with his business knowledge.

He built a strong reputation for his work in the corporate world where he has developed blue chip brands through comedy, invented creative solutions and produced over 2,000 corporate & light entertainment shows and is an advisor to the ‘Arts & Business organisation’. His considerable success in this area was recognised by an outstanding achievement award by ‘Club Mirror’ and won the best creative campaign award by ‘Marketing’ magazine.
