Jonathan Ross proudly received two awards at the 2004 BAFTA Television Awards. The awards were in the categories of Best Entertainment Performence and The Lew Grade Award for Best Entertainment Programme or Series for Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.
The awards capped a monumental year for the show in which they have won a host accolades. The mantlepiece so far accommodates the following: Royal Television Society Award for Best Entertainment Performence, Broadcast Award for Best Light Entertainment Programme, British Comedy Award and two TRIC Awards (Television & Radio Industries Club) for Radio Personality of the Year and Television Personality of the Year.
A multi award-winning TV and radio presenter, Jonathan has rarely been off our screens. More recent memorable highlights include hosting BBC’s Red Nose Day, the BBC’s coverage of The Oscars, three Hollywood Greats specials on James Stuart, Kirk Douglas and Michael Caine, and a feisty one-off special interview with Madonna in Friday Night with Ross and Madonna.
