Alfie Joey

Alfie’s background is both interesting and unusual. Brought up in a working men's club, he then trained to be a priest.  He then gave up the religious life to become a toy demonstrator at Harrods, but he has now found his true calling- as a stand-up comic.

Alfie creates a rich tapestry with his cheerful blend of tall tales, keen observations, puns and quality impressions. His animated and energetic performance always charms and entertains.

A truly international comedian, he has appeared in Bahrain, Dubai and China and in 2003 he became the first western comedian to perform stand-up in South Korea.

In 2003, Alfie’s Edinburgh Fringe show ‘Alfie Joey’s Mini Cabaret’, which he performed from his red Ford Escort in an Edinburgh street, was a huge hit.

Alfie starred in Channel 4 drama Mad Mack and with Johnny Vegas in the comedy drama 'Ideal' on BBC 3. Alfie has also appeared alongside Baddiel & Skinner, Al Murray and Anne Robinson.

Alfie Joey is a real treat to watch, and he has charmed audiences across the board with his energetic style.

Alfie has performed to corporate clients such as: Reed Elsevier, Smiths Group, Xstrata and Vodafone.
