A true cross between alternative stand-up comedy and music hall variety, George’s unique visual style crosses many barriers.
George Egg has been a professional stand-up comedian, actor and writer for the last ten years. He has an extremely successful and inventive solo show with which he has toured in Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Spain, France, extensively in the United Kingdom and to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
George’s TV credits include: The Jim Tavare Show’ Channel 5, ‘Funny Business’ ITV, and ‘Red Velvet’ Channel 4. He has written material for many TV shows: ‘The Jim Tavare Show’ and the BAFTA winning series of ‘The Sketch Show’ ITV. He has also provided TV warm up for several shows and appeared as a straight actor in shows such as ‘The Bill’ ITV.
An experienced corporate entertainer, George has performed at events for many blue chip companies over the years. Such clients have included amongst many others: Experian, Smith & Nephew and Vedanta Resources.
